TEAM ASPHALT is the formula student team of Haldia Institute of Technology,haldia,West Bengal. It is one of the 41 teams qualified for FORMULA STIDENT INDIA (FSI) competition 2015-16 all over India. This competition is going to be held in January 2016 in which 51 teams will participate all over India among which 10 spots are reserved for last year top ten teams,so only 41 spots are open for which teams qualify on the basis of an online test.
TEAM ASPHALT is a group of 30 hard working members belonging to different departments. It is one of the few teams which has qualified for this competition twice that also in consecutive years. This team has also participated in FORMULA STUDENT INDIA (FSI) competition in year 2014-15 and they stood 23rd all over India.
This team is very much passionate about building cars and racing as they say, тАЬWE BUILD & WE RACEтАЭ.
